The Teacher

Sonia, a serious women with slightly bad selfesteem, teaches languages at the University of Rome. When she is offered a post at a university in Sicily, she eventually accepts it, in spite of her husbands strong objections. Once there, she begins to change. After intimate contacts with her new assistant Lucia, and Rocco - one of her most unruly students - she learns to let go of her inhibitions. Previously shy and introvert, she now becomes a women eager to experience the joys of life.
