Sam, a mediocre novelist, receives a task from his publisher to write an erotic novel. He lies to his wife, Agnes, and tells her, that without having an insight into the world of sex, he cannot possibly accept the challenge.

Agnes gets him a porno tape for his studies. But that is not enough for Sam. Even the erotic experiences that they had with their friend Francoise, did not encourage his fantasy. Sam's wife decides to invite girls into their home, to seduce them to the mirror-room, a room with a separate entrance, which you can see through a big mirror in their apartment. In the following weeks, many unsuspecting “victims” live out their lust in the mirror-room. Sam has sex with everyone and Agnes too is enjoying the exciting frivolities.
