Through slander, the delicate Romania gets into the hands of the witch hunters and is supposed to prove her innocence by humbly accepting the punishments. And indeed, the judges have underestimated the powers of this lovely and graceful woman. They tie her to a rope and suspend her, swinging her back and forth like a pendulum while punishing her. They lower her to the ground, only to raise her again. But the woman remains strong, and so the tormentors devise ever new and more extravagant punishments, which are immediately applied. Romania endures blows on her bare soles, black wax and candle flames. She is strung upside down, weighted with weights and used as a candlestick to satisfy the perverted desires of the horny masters. With a funnel one stuffs mush into her mouth, so that she remains strong for the last punishment of her martyrdom. On the bench one pulls and tugs them to the expulsion over a studded roller back and forth.
