Despite all the punishments and harassment that has suffered Janessa since their arrest and confinement in the dungeon of the witch hunterst, the judge still says that she isn't free of guilt. So they continue starving her in the darkness of the cell, naked and chained in the damp pit. When she begs for some water the guards pull a bad game: they plug a metal hook up her anus and make her crawl about on all fours while being driven by lashes. As a reward they splash the water on her face. Then she is entirely exposed and chained to a metal grate and turned into a living candlestick. Braided in a large wagon wheel, the defendant continues to be whipped and the witch trial goes on again. Even while her senses are repeatedly being dwindled, she remains steadfast and endures all the pain. Finally, they bind the witch to a ladder and test her ability to endure the old ordeal...
